1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MacrosMeasure ("the Service") at macrosmeasure.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors and users regardless of location.
2. Description of Service
MacrosMeasure provides free, browser-based nutrition calculators including calorie calculators, macro calculators, BMI, TDEE, body fat percentage, ideal weight, protein intake, keto macros, water intake, one-rep max, calories burned, and recipe nutrition analysis.
- All calculations are performed locally in your browser using established nutritional science formulas.
- No user account or registration is required to use any calculator.
- The Service is provided free of charge with no subscription tiers.
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted uptime or guaranteed accuracy.
- MacrosMeasure does not provide medical, dietary, or clinical advice.
3. Medical Disclaimer
All results produced by MacrosMeasure — including calorie targets, macro ratios, BMI classifications, body fat percentages, ideal weight ranges, and all other outputs — are mathematical estimates derived from population-based research formulas. They are provided solely for general informational and educational purposes.
MacrosMeasure does not provide medical, dietary, nutritional, or clinical advice. Results are not a substitute for professional evaluation by a qualified physician, registered dietitian, or licensed healthcare provider.
The following individuals must consult a healthcare professional before relying on any calculator result:
- People with diabetes, pre-diabetes, or insulin resistance
- People with a history of or active eating disorders
- People with chronic kidney disease, liver conditions, or heart disease
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women
- People currently under clinical care for any diet-related condition
- Children and adolescents under 18
MacrosMeasure assumes no liability for any health outcomes, decisions, or consequences arising from reliance on our calculator results.
4. Accuracy of Calculations
MacrosMeasure uses named, peer-reviewed formulas including the Mifflin-St Jeor equation (calories/BMR), the US Navy circumference method (body fat), the Epley formula (one-rep max), and USDA FoodData Central (recipe nutrition). Formula sources are cited on our About page.
Known limitations:
- Results may deviate ±10–15% from actual values due to individual metabolic variation.
- Body fat formulas are less accurate for highly muscular individuals; DEXA scanning is the clinical gold standard.
- BMR and TDEE estimates are less precise for individuals over 70.
- Pregnancy significantly alters caloric and macronutrient needs beyond what standard equations capture.
- Nutritional data for processed foods may differ from USDA values due to manufacturer variation.
MacrosMeasure makes no express or implied warranties as to the accuracy or completeness of information provided. Results are estimates only.
5. Acceptable Use
You may use MacrosMeasure for personal, non-commercial informational purposes. You agree not to:
